Seven Things: Back to the not-so-regular schedule

Just some thoughts & other stuff:

01/ I don't have a blogging schedule but it seems to be 'post whenever I have something' and I usually don't. I do a lot of memes and challenges and they do relate to what I usually posts - lists, art, blogging stuff. But I'm thinking of creating a schedule but I think that's just my ambitious self talking because there's no way I would be able to follow any schedule. But I really kind of wish I have a schedule. It just seems so unorganized not to have one.

I actively avoid posting on Mondays as I don't much like Mondays and I think it's the least productive day in terms of creativity and work. But sometimes I do post on Mondays, like today because I feel like I haven't been blogging at all.

02/ I have just changed my blog name back to 'rainswept,' as you can see by header (the drawing with the blue cup and yellow umbrella) on the right. 'Tea rain dreams' was okay for a while but I didn't get use to the name and it sort of sounds a bit disjointed now. I doubt that many people noticed it so it's not like a big deal to change back. At least, I didn't change urls.

03/ I have finished the April A-Z Challenge. My thoughts on the challenge is here.

04/ I pretty much quit the '365 commenting in a year' challenge.  I just got sick of counting comments though I'm pretty sure I've commented on at least 200 blogs by now. (You can read about the challenge here.)

05/ Don't following me on google+. Not that I have many followers but I'm not active at all on google+. I only use google+ to leave comments on blogs. Other than that, I find very little use for google+.

06/ I don't know if anyone notice but I have been using 'lb' as credits for my art and photos on this blog. 'lb' stands for 'lissablue' which I have used a few times for printed cards but I'm thinking I should start adding it to my art works since I have not been using anything. I suppose I'll never find a name that I like enough to use but 'lb' doesn't sound so bad for now.

07/ Just a few thoughts on movies watched in March & April:
1- Star Wars: The Last Jedi
It's a pretty good movie except that some things aren't resolved or have answers for. I only watched this because of The Force Awakens which did the same thing and I wanted answers but they pretty much held back and that annoyed me. This movie is like a filler, an in-between movie until they make another sequel. I suppose we'll get some answers then but at this moment, I just don't care.

2 - Doctor Strange
This movie is just okay. I like the 'cape' and that Wong character more than Doctor Strange. The cape just seems more of a fun character than Strange and also why does Strange succeeds so quickly? He hardly did any hard work, so he's a quick learner but still, it's as if his progress from a broken man to Dr Strange took no time or much effort. What's with the three endings? It's like they can't make a movie without connecting to other movies. I find Dr Strange a bit boring so I doubt I would watch any sequels.

3 - Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
This is really just a fun, entertaining movie. I really don't have much against it. I had fun watching it. I certainly enjoyed this more than Doctor Strange and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Honestly, I just think movies should entertain more than anything else and Jumanji is very entertaining.

Anything you want to share? Leave a comment.

  1. I've heard good things about Jumanji

    1. Jumanji is really a fun movie. maybe you'll enjoy it.

thanks for your visits, have a lovely day.

  2. These days I find it hard to post a bit myself also.
I did not notice LB, I think it might be good to choose a signature and stick with it, in case you become famous. But hey, you could be the artist that 'often' changes her signature.

    1. it's why I like challenges, it helps you a bit to get blogging.

I never could stick to names especially ones that I use.

thanks for stopping by, have a lovely day.

  3. Like you, I have no schedule for blogging, but I would probably be mocu more organized if I did, that's for sure.(lol) Dr. Strange was different than I expected, but it was ok. I also loved Jumanji, but I think the mix of characters is what made it so much fun. As always, I always like seeing your posts! Hugs...RO

    1. it really does seem like I'm more organized if I have a schedule but I guess I'm just not the type of people that could follow it.

thanks for stopping by, have a lovely day.

  4. Difficult to force a blog post, is it not. Blog when you feel like, when you have something to post. That is what I normally do.
    Take care

    1. it's why I don't post as much, I didn't want to post something that I don't like or believe in. and it's easier to post when and want I want.

thanks for stopping by, have a lovely day.
