We Love Superheroes Week

Hamlette at Hamlette's Soliloquy is hosting a 'We love superheroes week' blogathon from February 11-17.  I don't have anything prepared so I thought I answer the tag questions first.

01/ Who are your favorite superheroes?  (Go ahead and list up to five if you want!)
Christopher Reeve as Superman // Bill Bixby & Lou Ferrign as David Banner & The Hulk // Chris Evans as Captain America
Superman – he's always been my favorite ever since I saw the Christopher Reeve Superman movie

The Incredible Hulk – I like the tv series with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno a whole lot better than all the movies

Captain America – to be honest, I didn't quite like him until the Chris Evans movie

02/ What's your favorite superhero movie? Superman with Christopher Reeve

03/ Do you have a favorite superhero couple?
Dean Cain as Clark Kent/Superman & Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane
Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman

04/ What was your introduction to the world of superheroes?
The movie Superman with Christopher Reeve

05/ If you could be any superhero for a day, who would you like to be?

The Incredible Hulk – people needs to vent their anger so this is not a bad way to do it

06/ Do you have a favorite supervillain?
I hate villains so why would I have a favorite?

07/ Can you think of a superhero who should get their own solo film, but hasn't yet?
No. Well, I just wish they would make a good Hulk movie without the Hulk being in a group. I just hate those group superhero movies. Why can't heroes fight on their own? What is this need to build a universe and connect everyone? I sort of hate 'Spider-man: homecoming' because Iron Man was in it. Since when do superheroes need other superheroes to mentor them?

08/ Do you read comic books?
No.

09/ Why do you like superheroes?
Because they fight the bad guy so normal people wouldn't have to although I guess policemen and firefighters and such does do the same thing without any super powers.

10/ Have you ever cosplayed as a superhero?  Feel free to share pics if you want!
No. And even if I have, there will be no pictures and even if pictures were taken, they would have been destroyed.

  2. I love, love love superheroes! I watch all the movies, collect the action figures and other memorabilia to go with it. I adore their super powers and the need to make the world safer place. I don't read comic books as much as I used to, but I still have a few. The villains are so creative and make the story interesting. My favorite superhero would definitely be Batman, and he just seems like the perfect heartthrob. Great post! Hugs...

    1. I'm not much of a batman fan but if I have to pick a favorite batman, I would go with michael keaton and only because he just seems to perfect for the role.

  3. Aww, I really like Lois and Clark too! So much fun. I like that Superman got to be a happy dude for once.

Interesting that you don't like group superhero stories. Not a fan of the X-men, then, I take it? Since they were conceived of as a superhero team, with a superhero mentor?

    1. oh yes, a happy Superman, well, Clark, has such a delightful parents. He always have their support so I suppose that is why he's more of an upbeat guy.

I did like the X-men as a whole because I've see the group movies and not the solo ones. I just think the x-men are better as a group while superheroes like Superman, Batman, the hulk, etc, just seems to work better alone.

thanks for stopping by, have a lovely day.
