Top Ten Thursday: Quotes

I don't have any facts or myths or beliefs, I just have quotes.
This week's Top Ten Thursday is to list your top ten facts, myths or sayings you believe in. I don't have any facts or myths or beliefs, I just have quotes. These are some of my favorite that I think people would agree on, well, I would.

01/ “To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it.”

― Kurt Vonnegut

02/ "Everything ends, and it's always sad. But everything begins again too, and that's always happy. Be happy."
Doctor Who

03/ "The road to success is always under construction."
— Lily Tomlin

04/ "And now that you don't have to be perfect, you can be good."
— John Steinbeck

05/ "There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes."
Doctor Who

06/ "Do anything, but let it produce joy."
— Walt Whitman

07/ "You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here."
— Advice to Sylvia Plath, from her mother

08/ "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia."
— Charles M. Schulz

09/ "My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can."
— Cary Grant

10/ "To be stupid, selfish, and have good health are three requirements for happiness, though if stupidity is lacking, all is lost."
— Gustave Flaubert

  1. Many good ones! #8 made me smile "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." Kind of like "it's always 5 o'clock somewhere"

  5. Such fabulous quotes Lissa, especially the two from Dr Who - very, very wise. #7 is my favourite on your list and I never realised who said it. I now love it even more as I love Sylvia Plath's poetry but find her life so sad.
    Have a great day.

    1. there are many Dr. Who quotes that I like though I have only saw two episodes of the series.

as Sarah said in her comment, #7 is actually Plath's writing.
