Scribble Picnic: Flower Bed

'rose dream no.2' (not quite finished)
'rose dream no.2' closeup
This week's Scribble Picnic is Flower Bed.  This is actually a piece I have started a while back that I  didn't add color (and it's still not finished), so it's not quite 'flower bed' but there are flowers. (click on the images for a larger view) For more Scribble Picnic, go here.

    1. if you look closely, the lines are very neat but that's okay. they don't have to be perfect.

  6. A unique take on the prompt and oh so beautiful. It could be finished if left as is ... makes me wonder what more you would add :)

    1. well, perhaps some color/shadow to the hair but now that I have seen it more often, I do like it like this.

  7. Oh, this is beautiful Lissa! I love her hair and that her curls have a similar feeling (for me) as the flowers. The tendrils and swirls and veil are lovely touches.

  11. Wow, Lissa, such an incredible piece. I love the face veil and the hair and flowers. Pensive adn sombre even. I'm guessing she is perhaps laying on a bed that it is a flower BED per se? :) Can't wait to see this done. Maybe you can add the "X" within the square shape to add it to the "fill in the blank" challenge for next week? Woudl love to see this complete!
