    1. when I search the web looking fox images, I saw most foxes have very glassy eyes, like they shine rather too much which I like so I try to depict that here. I suppose when I have completed this piece, it might even looked that way.

thanks for stopping by, have a lovely day.

    1. the hair matching is intentional as I want them to be companions to each other and somehow they have the same traits of sorts.

  4. I saw this on Scribble Picnic's Fox theme and LOVE it! The whole of the composition is wonderful and I feel like it invites us into another realm, another place filled with stories yet to be told. Perhaps the fox and her familiar are the guardians of that realm or just enchanted residents . . . either way, a lovely image and a delight to stumble upon today. . . truly magical. Thank you! :)

  6. Fuzzy friends or family, they definitely have similar qualities and look cosy together. I can;t wait to see this completed and love the direction you are going here, Lissa. Thank you so much for adding it. Ha, I love the lil' boys fuzzy carrot top of hair.

    1. yep, I love the little boy fairy's hair too, it was intentional that his hair should match the fox's.

  7. Hi Lissa,
Because of its size it reminded me of the Big Red Dog stories - companions for sure. You can see how safe the little lad seems with his foxy friend. And I love the eyes.

  10. This is wonderful Lissa. I do enjoy the closeups that you share with us. They certainly look like kin! I love the fairies toes coming together and his wings nearly match the foxes ears. This looks like it might be part of a previous piece you have shared with us?

Thank you so much for helping me out this SP! Camping was gorgeous, relaxing and fun.

    1. yes, this is part of some of the previous pieces - fairies & vines & alphabets - I suppose it might be a series, that is, if I happen to finish as I'm prone to procrastinate.
